We're seeking a Android Engineer who is able and willing to hit the ground running to help bring the Dollar Shave Club Android app to life.

This specific position will work within our first-class Engineering team and partner closely with other engineers, product managers, marketing, and ux/design teams, to bring A/B tests, visual enhancements, and code improvements to the app. In this role, you'll be mentored and challenged by a core team of engineers and architects - with backgrounds in machine learning, CS and who've worked for the likes of Google, Yahoo, Disney - who have built a platform which services over 2.5 million users per month built atop the latest technology.

* Build features for DSC's Android app using latest community standards and best practices
* Easily convert mockups, prototypes, and user stories into production ready code
* Partner with Creative, Member Services and Backend teams to bridge between UI/graphic design and technical implementation

Skills and Experience

* Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals including Object Oriented Programming and data structures
* Experience in Android development including a solid knowledge of Android lifecycles, View classes, Services, and networking
* Experience with functional reactive programming and MV* architecture preferred
* BS in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a tea
