Role and Responsibility

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Serve as technical interface to the customer for assigned program(s).  Manage and follow up with technical action items.
  • Lead triage activity of program technical issues.  Track and resolve both internal issues and customer issues.  Interface with both the customer and Harman Product Engineering teams to coordinate a successful resolution of these issues. 
  • Identify product requirement or performance issues.  Works with team to negotiate resolution.
  • Monitor and drive program KPI’s
  • Serve as technical interface to applicable suppliers.  Manage and follow up with technical action items.
  • Manage program analytics including defining parameters to be monitored, driving implementation, monitoring results, and making recommendations on improvements
  • Support the program manager with planning, resource, cost estimates, and risk related activities.
  • Communicate status summary to management
  • Identify, document, and manage risk associated with product development.
  • Support internal organizations. Support for such items as product DFMEA, Schematic Reviews, Warranty, Diagnostics, DVP&R, Appearance Approvals PSO, and special investigations. Support the software/hardware/mechanical developers at the unit and system level to insure that all requirements are met and the highest software quality is achieved
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 10+ years automotive experience with experience preference in Infotainment or cellular.
  • Experience with analyzing or defining vehicle network buses such as CAN or MOST
  • Experience working with automotive electronics, printed circuit boards, components, etc.
  • Experience with Infotainment features such as SDARs, Bluetooth, USB, Navigation, Hands-Free, DAB, Wi-Fi
