The local online job board honors some of the best places to work in the Bay Area.

Campbell, CA – After carefully analyzing the survey responses, announces the winners of their Second Annual Top Bay Area Employer Contest. This free nomination process gave companies in the region an opportunity to generate recognition for the benefits and perks they offer to their employees.

The winners of the 2012 Second Annual Top Bay Area Employer Contest are as follows:

Marketing Director Skye Callan says, “We received many responses that gave us a clear indication on the best places to work in the Bay Area, recognizing their working conditions by far outshine the competition.”

Employees were enthusiastic to talk about what they loved most about their workplace, and in the end, five companies were selected for the award, along with two honorees. From supporting green initiatives to offering volunteering and health memberships, it is apparent that the nominated companies provide perks beyond basic benefits programs.

“It is great to see how highly employees speak of their companies, making it a tough competition,” notes Marketing Coordinator Corinne Dickey, “It was also interesting to see that higher level executives who completed the nomination form were more aware of their company’s benefits than their colleagues.” Callan recommends, “Companies should offer their employees’ ongoing education about the great perks they provide as it will help maintain employee engagement and retention.”

Winners of the contest receive a customized badge display on their career websites. Corinne says, “An award like this helps organizations attract more attention from talent by highlighting the company as one that people want to work for.”
