Industry Veterans Join AfterCollege Advisory Board and Board of Directors

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -  AfterCollege, the largest career network for college students and recent graduates, today announced the appointment of Marcel Legrand, formerly of, to its board of directors. In addition, AfterCollege is pleased to announce the appointment of John Fees to its board of advisors. Fees is an entrepreneur and thought leader in affinity and collegiate marketing.

Fees is currently CEO of Next Generation Insurance Group. Legrand held various executive roles at TMP Worldwide and, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development. He is currently co-founder of Vertical Knowledge LLC.

Legrand replaces Ana Bertran Ortiz who is vacating a seat on the board of directors and joining AfterCollege’s advisory board. Dr. Bertran Ortiz co-founded AfterCollege and was instrumental in crafting the company’s original business plan and in raising initial capital. She is also the co-author of AfterCollege’s 7,213,019 patent, which covers the company’s unique process for matching job seekers with relevant opportunities around group-based talent networks.
