We have an opening at the Principal level to drive growth and develop our Health Ecosystems practice.



We are looking for a senior leader who understands integrated delivery networks and healthcare consolidation and identify systematic ways to segment and value networks that we could use to expand our offerings within Pharma and MPS as part of the Ecosystem I-team.

  • Drive business and develop new offerings within the Sales Force Design Practice
  • Develop firm’s expertise in understanding outcome-based reimbursement within managed care networks (primarily through internal expertise development rather than external hiring)
  • Serve as an internal SME for client teams in business development efforts
  • Promote ZS’ space expertise externally through conferences, white papers, etc.
  • Manage projects and client relationships
  • Direct multiple projects simultaneously, honing analytic and project management skills
  • Motivate, coach and serve as a role model for project team members
  • Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects and across practice areas


  • Bachelor’s degree, with MBA degree strongly preferred, from strong academic program, although additional relevant work experience may substitute
  • 8+ years of consulting experience
  • At least 3 years of experience with managed care networks within the healthcare industry
  • 3+ years Care Optimization consulting experience with large, complex provider healthcare clients
  • 3+ years' experience with complex provider healthcare environments/ Integrated Delivery Networks  (large hospital system and/or multi-site hospital organization)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and grow client relationships
  • Deep knowledge of the provider healthcare market
  • Deep knowledge about future care delivery models including: Accountable Care Organizations and Patient Centered Medical Homes
  • Knowledge about healthcare regulatory reporting and compliance
  • Executive level presence 

ZS is a global consulting firm; fluency in English is required, additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
