Established in 1959 by an act of the State Legislature and headquartered in historic Marysville, California, Yuba County Water Agency is a public agency governed by a 7-member Board of Directors comprised of the five members of the Yuba County Board of Supervisors and two members elected at large. When bid in 1966, the $180 million Yuba River Development Project was the largest single non federal, non state construction contract of its kind.
