Job Description

Real Estate Paralegal/Title Insurance Agent: Elkhart County title insurance company seeking experienced real estate paralegal/title insurance agent. Successful candidate should be well versed in real estate transactions, title insurance, preparation of documents with a comprehensive understanding of legal descriptions, possess excellent computer skills, and have or be willing to obtain a title insurance agent license. Responsibilities include ability to perform title searches and closings, anticipate potential title issues and resolve problems in accordance with changing regulatory and statutory requirements, electronically record documents, and compile information needed to accomplish issuance of final policies. Experience with all aspects of real estate, title insurance, title searches, closings, and escrows preferred. Competitive wage and benefits package.
