The Peer Support Specialist I or II

This is a regular full-time position (40 hours/week) for a Peer Support Specialist to serve individuals with serious mental illness and/or co-occurring mental health and addictions challenges. This is a graveyard position. Work schedule is Saturday 11pm-Sunday 9:30am, Sunday 11pm-Monday 9:30am, Monday 11pm-Tuesday 9:30am, Tuesday 11pm- Wednesday 9:30am. This position works with multi-disciplinary teams to assist individuals in accessing resources, addressing barriers related to their mental health, and developing skills that promote recovery and advocacy. Responsibilities include: using personal mental health experiences to provide support to individuals, assisting in utilizing recovery skills, providing linkage with local peer organizations, identifying strengths to achieve individual goals, and providing individual and group peer services.
