The Routing Coordinator is responsible for building efficient delivery routes using specialized route planning software.


  • Create efficient delivery routes which incorporate travel times, service times, DOT restrictions and traffic patterns
  • Complete all automated or manual pre-calls to customers, dealers, and stores to communicate the delivery date and service window for each stop on a given route
  • Communicate with customers to advise of shipment delays and information necessary to process orders
  • With the assistance of Regional Market Analyst, restructure routes to increase route optimization
  • Log and print manifest for completed and approved routes which are ready for pre-call processing
  • Maintain order integrity to include correct delivery dates, notes, exception codes, etc.
  • Support the STH (store-to-home) routing in the assigned service area
  • Monitor all routes for region’s current day deliveries
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • Experience working with MS Office (Word and Excel) and routing software is required
  • One year of experience in a customer service oriented environment is strongly desired
  • Experience in a call center environment is a plus
