GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  Responsible for assisting  Terminal management with all safety related duties including driver recruiting and retention, driver sign-on documentation, random drug testing, monitoring of tractor inspections, accident/incident reporting and driver log & fuel tax audit. Promote XPO safety culture to terminal colleagues and drivers.



  • Driver compliance 
    • Assist with driver’s log auditing     
    • Collect driver’s trip reports and ensure fuel receipts meet company standards.
    • Assist drivers with paperwork issues as needed.
    • Driver Awareness (new procedures and keeping them informed)
  • Safety compliance and education  
    • Lead monthly safety meetings, educating drivers on FMCSA regulations
    • Conduct monthly random truck inspections
    • Maintain random and monthly tractor inspections files to company standards.
    • Assist management in gathering information to complete accidents files.
  • Driver settlement and invoice processing 
    • Review and re-bill M&R Invoices, process invoices to pay vendors
    • Review driver settlements for discrepancies, order entry
  • Driver recruiting and on-boarding
  • Back-up for Dispatcher as needed 



  • Minimum Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum Required Experience: 1-2 years transportation experience or safety function
  • Desired Education and Experience: Associates Degree and 2-3 years transportation experience or safety
