Oversee process to ensure inventory and orders are completed accurately and on time. Review workload and assign tasks to employees.

Essential Functions

  • Properly train and coach warehouse employees
  • Correctly utilize a warehouse management system and maintain appropriate work documents
  • Establish, maintain, and promote exceptional customer service
  • Recommend discipline and development opportunities for employees
  • Correctly interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance
  • Provide support and backup to warehouse management
  • Safely operate various equipment and tools
  • Assist other employees in the performance of their assigned duties when necessary

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience, with 1+ year(s) of supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and take a reach truck or cherry picker to a height of 23+ feet in hot or cold environments
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, stand, and sit for long periods of time
  • Normal or corrected hearing and vision
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and RF scanners
  • Ability to speak, read (fine print), and write in English; follow verbal and written directions; write simple correspondence;effectively communicate with others
  • Able to work a flexible work schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime (which may include weekends)
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
