Shift – 2nd

The qualified candidates will transport products or materials to specified destinations utilizing equipment for which current licensing is maintained. Maneuver truck into loading or unloading position, following signals from loading crew as needed. Inspect truck at pre-shift and as needed; submit report indicating truck condition. Load or unload, or assist in loading and unloading truck; wrap goods to secure load to trailer walls using straps; give directions to helper in packing and moving goods to trailers . As required, will be responsible for receipt of parts delivered by the Company to client production facilities and subsequent delivery of product to designated point of use delivery areas. Create and read bill of lading (BOL) to determine assignment; inventory and inspect goods to be moved to verify condition and ensure conformance to BOL. Verify all items, quantities and labels are correct on product, orders, and carts. Monitor pull signals and time remaining for orders to be delivered. Maintain and audit staged orders. Communicate with Point-of Use area and management as needed. May also perform other functions based on licensing and vehicle size requirements.


  • High school diploma or equivalent; six months or more related experience and/or training or combination of education and experience; possess and maintain appropriate Commercial Drivers License (CDL) appropriate for vehicle being driven (A, B, C) and appropriate additional endorsements (i.e., hazardous materials)
  • Pass eligibility requirements as set forth in the Company's Motor Fleet Safety Program
  • Experience with methods for moving product, laws, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective operations for the protection of people and property
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure documents; understanding of shipping and receiving
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms, at times above head; and talk and hear
  • The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch twist and crawl, and occasionally required to climb; must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
  • The employee must regularly lift up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; the employee may also move up to 500 pounds on wheeled carts
  • Available to work overtime during the week and on weekends as necessary and determined by workflow
  • Ability to work in customers facility; must pass a client-specific security background check
