Warehouse Team Lead


Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to Market Manager and is responsible for providing instruction and supervision to the team responsible for order filling, loading and unloading of merchandise as well as housekeeping. Responsible for ensuring error free disciplines of all warehouse operations per company policies and procedures. Responsible for the task of maintaining high standards of all warehousing processes including associate productivity and professionalism.


Job Duties

  • Assign work activities and instruct associates in proper equipment
    Operation, maintenance procedures and housekeeping requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials, and supplies
  • Required to perform jobs within area of responsibility.
  • Monitor the usage of equipment, and ensure adherence to all
    safety procedures and programs.
  • Responsible for inventory, monitoring and performing merchandise reconciliation.
  • Monitor group activities; assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity and take necessary action to correct substandard associate performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications/ Requirements

  • Four Year degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in Supervisory role.
  • Strong Computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership ability.
  • Solid analytical ability.
  • General Math skills.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Requires handling medium to heavy merchandise.
