GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing operations in the warehouse: shipping and receiving, unloading and loading of trucks, ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customers, maintaining accurate inventory and inventory controls.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. These are the most significant job duties performed; other responsibilities or assignments not specifically mentioned may also be assigned

  • Manage and direct shipping and receiving; unloading and loading of trucks and vehicles; checking of merchandise and matching sales orders. 50%
  • Review customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items and merchandise to be moved, gathered and delivered/shipped. 20%
  • Ensuring merchandise and items are marked with identifying information using client specific documentation methods. 10%
  • Maintaining accurate listing and count of physical inventory. 15%
  • Ensuring the warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic; coordinating necessary maintenance tasks. 5%

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • No Supervisory responsibilities.

DECISION-MAKING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This Job has decision-making responsibilities up to $500 amount..

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum Required Education: Associates Degree.
  • Minimum Required Experience: 2+ years of warehouse and supervisory experience.
  • Desirable Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree and 2+ years of warehouse management experience.
