The Xilinx Global Operations Quality division is looking for a Foundry Engineer who will ensure improvements in product quality and provide solutions for any yield issues. This individual contributor position will report into the Director of Foundry Operations.


Work with foundry to drive understanding of yield issues and implementation of solutions
Work with foundry, testing, and reliability to drive quality improvement to meet stringent requirements (e.g. automotive requirements)
Analyze large data set for identifying sources of yield suppression or opportunities for yield improvement
Identify causes of systematic and random yield loss, drive to root cause, and implement countermeasures using data analysis methods and process knowledge
Drive/support development and implementation of process BKMs
Drive/support development and implementation of quality requirements, test conditions, and screens.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree. Advanced degree a plus.
Familiar with wafer fabrication, process engineering, or product engineering.
Familiar with integrated circuit quality, manufacturing, and testing.
Good analytical and making data-driven conclusion skills.
Ability to drive complex issues to closure in a timely manner and clearly communicate the result.
Familiar with data mining techniques and history investigation to determine the cause of low yield from single point fliers and excursions
Understanding / experience with process integration on advanced process nodes (HK MG, gate first and gate last, FinFets)
Familiar with SPC, DOE, Statistical Analysis, and Project Management techniques
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and various statistics programs (i.e. JMP, Spotfire)
Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills
Programming and/or scripting experience is a plus (JMP, PIG, Scala,VB, Java, Cloudera software)
Ability to work with others and good team player with strong sense of team work
