Job Description

Oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation for Xilinx ASIC development. Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation. Will use knowledge of high-speed SerDes technology to develop reference designs, create protocol specific use models, and deliver application notes for Xilinx transceivers. Develop reference design or interface logic for various transceiver applications or protocols. Work with internal IP teams and customers to ensure proper usage of Xilinx transceivers for various applications. Development of SerDes collateral such as user guides, data sheets and application notes. Perform SerDes electrical compliance or debug; examples: PCIe, USB, SATA etc.


* Master or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.


* 1 year experience as Design Engineer, Engineering Intern or related occupation.

Special Requirements:

* Must have at least 1 year prior work experience in the following:
* RTL design in Verilog/VHDL, and FPGA design
* C/C for embedded system development
* Perl or Python for lab hardware automation
* High-bandwidth oscilloscopes and associated lab equipment for silicon bring-up and device characterization
