Job Description

Analyze, design,program, debug and modify software enhancements and new products. Serve as a member of high performance teamworking on cutting edge HDL simulation technology and developing some of thekey state of art features delivered to Xilinx customers. Design, implement, analyze and test FPGAphysical implementation tools and the supporting infrastructure. Develop software features from requirementspecification to implementation. Utilize understanding of the software featuredetails, design algorithm and data structures for the features and deliver arobust implementation with high performance in the simulator. Communication with the development team,internal customers, application engineers and documentation writers. Continuous improvement of the performance andquality of the simulator.


* Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.

Alternate Requirements:

* Willalso accept Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, ComputerEngineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related fieldand five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offeredor Engineer, Developer, Intern, Trainee or related occupation.

Special Requirements:

* Must have work experience, coursework, project background, internship experience in the following:

1) C/C programming;

2) Advanced AlgorithmDevelopment;

3) Softwareengineering skills, including software engineering process, concepts, datadictionary, and best practices;

4) Object Oriented Design;

5) VLSI Design;

6) CAD techniques for Digital systems; and,

7) Verilog.
