Washington State University Job HR Consultant

Washington State University Human Resource Services seeks a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our team as an HR Consultant in Pullman, WA. The HR Consultant plays a pivotal role for the University in providing program coordination, administrative direction, and counsel to management and employees regarding university employee Disability Services programs. This position serves as the reasonable accommodation specialist and leads day to day operations within the Disability Services unit to include reasonable accommodation, medical leaves, workers' compensation, shared leave, long term disability claims, mandatory drug and alcohol testing, volunteer reporting, interpretation and application of laws, rules, policies and procedures, program or policy development, and appeals.

The minimum requirements for this position are a Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related area AND three (3) years of professional experience in human resource functions in a formal human resource setting. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

This full-time, benefit-eligible position is located in Pullman, WA.
