Electrical Intern - Arlington, VA

Introduction

WSP|PB, an award winning and innovative multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm is looking for interns with electrical or architectural engineering background for the Arlington, VA office. WSP|PB works closely with architects and owners from around the world on large, complex projects with a focus on sustainability and energy performance of the built environment.

About the job

As our intern, you will function as part of the design team and utilize engineering design, computer and communications skills to assist in developing appropriate solutions for our projects. Candidates will learn basic principles of electrical system design and become familiar with Revit and engineering software applications. You will perform basic engineering design and production and construction administration services.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

* Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering
* Ability to work full time
* Knowledge of AutoCad and Revit
* Interest in innovative design, specifically in renewable energies and sustainable, high performing buildings
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Quality driven
* Ability to drive projects forward
* Ability to perform well under time constraint
