WSP has an immediate need for a CEI Senior Inspector with relevant industry certifications and experience to join our Florida Construction Services Group and will be based our Marathon, FL office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
* Monitoring on-site construction activities
* Candidate should have bridge construction experience.
* Inspecting materials in accordance with client's scope of services (plans, specifications, and special provisions)
* Maintaining detailed accurate records of daily operations and significant events: Completing Daily Reports and entering into client database.
* Attending all Project Meetings: Required to provide timely/accurate update/appraisal of the work.
* Monitoring and inspecting the Work Zone Traffic Control (in accordance with the client's requirements)
* Monitoring all Environmental Permit compliances.
* Fulfilling other duties as so required/requested.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 7+ years of relevant construction inspection experience
* Valid Driver's License
* Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
* Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

Certifications (must have or achieve within 3 months):

* CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I (level II required if bridges)
* CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I & II
* CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I & II
* CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
* CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures)
* CTQP Final Estimates Level I
* FDOT Intermediate MOT
* Post Tensioning Technician Level I
