WSP is currently initiating a search for a Design Engineer for our Atlanta, GA office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Experience in design and preparation of construction drawings for Drainage, Water and Sewer Systems, Drainage Systems, and Land Development projects
* Preparation of construction documents, reports and specifications for various land development and construction projects
* Preparation of designs and calculations for stormwater, sanitary sewer, water service, flood hazard areas, and soil erosion control
* Field work and inspections of various construction projects
* Communicating and interfacing with clients by phone, in writing and in person
* Conduct project coordination with various agencies and departments
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
* Manage daily schedules and activities in a timely and professional manner
* Be proficient on AutoCAD and Civil 3D
* Knowlegdge of modeling software like XPSWMM, InfoWorks, etc. a plus

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Master's preferred
* 3 to 5 years experience in the design of water and sanitary sewer collection and conveyance lines, pumping facilities, water and wastewater treatment, and permitting of water and wastewater related projects
* Received the Fundamentals of Engineering Certification, PE preferred
* Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
* Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
