WSP is currently initiating a search for a System Integration Project Manager for our Newark, NJ office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* System integration manager for PTC program.
* Responsible for managing a team of technical staff.
* Capable of review of staffing levels and augmenting where and when necessary.
* Apply advanced knowledge of train control systems engineering principles and techniques.
* Apply understanding of industry standard design processes and understanding of appropriate engineering means and methods.
* Apply Understanding of train control commissioning processes for new and existing construction.
* Perform engineering design reviews for implementation and commissioning related activities.
* Conduct support for obtaining systems certifications from FRA on PTC systems.
* Apply knowledge of PTC system to evaluate and test the performance of these systems.
* Apply knowledge and skill in using a variety of computer programs and technology used in solving engineering problems.
* Work within project scope, budgets, and design approach to deliver project to clients on time, on budget, and at a high level of client service.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

* Minimum 17 years of railroad and/or transit industry systems engineering experience
* Bachelor's degree in engineering required
* Must have PTC, ATC and CBTC experience
* Quality Control / Quality Assurance experience
* Proficiency with MS Office software, project scheduling software
* Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team membersPreferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

* Professional registration
* PMP certification
