Job Description

Join our Civil Engineering Team and work on local and regional transportation projects to help meet our client's objectives and solve their challenges.

WSP is currently seeking an exceptional candidate for a Civil Engineer I for our Honolulu office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Assists with design tasks and drawings using computer-aided design (CADD) related to the development of construction plans for transportation projects
* Assist in preparing engineer computations and analysis
* Prepares quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and special provisions
* Assists with report writing
* Assists in field work
* And other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field
* A minimum of 1 year of experience in highway/roadway/utility design
* Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills
* Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products
* Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive
* Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
* Must be comfortable working outdoors

Preferred Qualifications

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and ArcGIS
