Job Description


Worthington Industries is seeking an engineering intern to assist with product drawings and design at a manfucturing facility in Theodore, AL. Interns will work with Product Engineers and Design Engineers to complete drawings for new product requests, engineering change requests, and other engineering projects as assigned. Interns will have the opportunity to work with a variety of product drawings for cylinders which serve the Cryogenics industry. This Intern will gain valuable experience and work with actual product drawings and designs which will be used for production on a daily basis.


* Complete drawings for new product requests
* Complete engineering change requests
* Provide technical assistance to production personnel as needed for day to day production
* Other engineering projects as assigned

Desired Experience

* Positive, flexible attitude and willingness/ability to learn
* Able to work part time (15-20 hrs/week) during the school year
* Proficient in SolidWorks 3D modeling and detail drawing
* Experience with detail drawing in AutoCAD
* High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
* Currently pursuring Engineering degree
