A starting pay of $14.00/hour (with .55 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift), $.50/hour pay increase after 90 days and very low cost medical insurance coverage on the first day of employment are just the beginning of the earning potential, benefits, and career opportunities available with Worthington.  Along with overtime and double time after 48 hours in a work week, first year pay increases, employees enter our quarterly profit sharing bonus after 90 days that consistently adds over $3/hour to the quarter’s base pay. Worthington also has 100% tuition reimbursement for qualified employees and is committed to promotion from within and has many opportunities for advancement.  Over 50% of our managers and administrators have been promoted from manufacturing   positions.

SUMMARY:  This role generates the proper paperwork for material receipts and shipments. Unload and loading of trucks and rail cars using overhead cranes.  Accurate inventory paperwork, and effective communication with other employees and managers.  A successful candidate is a self-motivated multi-tasker that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all shipping and receiving quality levels are met.

• Capable of being trained to operate overhead crane
• Is responsible for accurately receiving material into inventory.
• Unloads and stores material in proper locations and perform receiving transactions.
• Staging material for work in process and accurately performs system transactions.
• Stages loads and loads trucks with steel to meet delivery dates.
• Performs shipping transactions for various computer applications to meet customer requirements
• Communicates potential supply problems to supervisor 
• Ensures proper receipt of coils into computer system/computer.
• Trains and mentors other shipping/receiving employees.
• Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Average computer skills
• Excellent forklift/material handling skills
• Basic math skills for verification of receipt quantities
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to train, coordinate, and communicate effectively with all departments

Education/Training Required:
• High School or equivalent.
• Standard safety training
