You will join a documentation team dedicated to delivering excellence and innovation in product documentation. You will use tools such as Flare, JIRA, and SnagIt; learn and document WorkForce Software products assist in maintaining a robust library of documentation materials; and author content for a global audience of technically varied users using a minimalist writing style. Delivering world-class documentation requires evaluating technologies and documentation trends; you will contribute to researching, evaluating, and implementing trends and innovations

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of WorkForce Software products.
  • Become adept at using Flare, SnagIt, JIRA, Confluence, Acrobat, and Perforce.
  • Author content that describes how to install, configure, and use the WorkForce Software product suite.
  • Author release notes and various technical bulletins
  • Interact with subject matter experts within an Agile development environment to understand new and updated product features and solicit feedback on documentation.
  • Edit documents for standard grammar, tone, style, format, and compliance with our style guide.
  • Research documentation-related technology tools and trends and share your findings with the team.
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing documentation technology.
     
  • Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Expert proficiency with MS Word
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical topics.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to gather and assimilate technical information and translate it into common language that can be readily understood by a global audience.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple deliverables.
  • Highly organized and motivated with excellent follow-through, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be flexible, foster teamwork, and adapt to changing environments.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining an effective and efficient member of cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience documenting software is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
