Job Description

As an IT Security Engineer you will design, implement, deploy, manage, and upgrade information security systems across multiple data centers and offices distributed globally. You will have a key role in our ongoing effort to continuously improve the protection of both WorkForce Software corporate information and customer data. Systems will be mainly Linux-based (CentOS), and strong Linux experience is required.

You won’t find strict rules about dress code, and we’re not hung up on certain terms, business philosophies, or work styles. We value effort, positivity, and collaboration. As a software company, founded by techies, we’ve got an unending appetite for the cutting edge. Competing against products from much larger firms challenges us to design the next great technology, a step ahead of everyone else! If you like learning, tinkering and testing, then we’d like to hear from you!

You will enjoy a generous benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, discounts on your gym membership, and much more!

  • Plan, analyze, design, and implement global security systems including logging systems, intrusion detection and prevention, network security monitoring, SIEM, patching systems, etc.

  • Work very closely with other system engineers and developers.
  • Document processes and procedures and cross train others.
  • Your Linux expertise will be utilized in other areas as necessary.

  • Travel would be 0% to 5% in any particular year. Travel could be domestic or international.

  • A “get it done!” attitude! We want you to take charge and take ownership! (Better to ask for forgiveness than to wait for permission).
