Workforce Software is expanding our Global Product Management Team that has responsibility for the growth, productivity and sustainability of our product portfolio in all of the markets we serve around the globe.

A Product Owner has an Agile mindset, business-focused orientation, strong technical skills and is responsible for defining market requirements and packaging the features into product releases. This position involves close interaction with Product Managers, UX/UI Leads, Engineering Teams, and customers.



  • Effectively capturing stakeholder needs and business value through engagement and analytical data
  • Refining user personas and understanding the ideal solutions to their problems
  • Bringing the Product Manager’s vision and roadmap to life with features that add value to both our customers and our business
  • Defining the solutions for validated and known market problems by writing user stories and maintaining a product backlog
  • Working with their respective team(s) to groom and refine the backlog
  • Representing customers and stakeholders as the principal decision-maker in the acceptance of stories
  • Leading cross-functional teams to make prioritization and trade-off decisions
  • Near to mid-term roadmap management
  • Leading the planning and delivery of features for each product release to execute on the business plan for their products
  • Collaborating closely with Product Strategy, Product Management, governance teams and Scrum teams to plan and execute sprints/releases
  • Working within or proposing changes to target resource allocations for their respective team(s)
  • Participating in Scrum events and ceremonies: Sprint Planning; Planning Poker; Backlog Refinement; Daily Stand-Ups; Reviews and Retrospectives
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for their functional product area



  • Up to 10%




  • Previous experience as the Product Owner within an Agile team
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodology, preferably with a current certification such as a Scrum Product Owner or Scrum Master
  • Experience with data-informed product ownership and decision-making
  • Desire to be a part of a high performing, collaborative team
  • Strategic thinker with a business-focused orientation and strong technical skills
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills; storytelling; ability to speak fluently to all technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Great relationship management skills fostering good working practices with all stakeholders and customers
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills to influence decision making at all levels within the organization, and in a variety of contexts
  • Results oriented and able to balance short and long term goals
  • Strong conceptual thinking and knowledge of Workforce Management processes would be an advantage



  • BS/BA in Business/Finance, Software/Engineering, or related field.  MBA preferred
