Job Description: Network Analyst II (InternetworkAnalyst)

The successful candidate will serve as a technical and subjectmatter expert for the IP Operations Center (IPOC) which provides Tier-2 supportfor internal NOC verticals. The IP Operation Center (IPOC) provides24x7x365 support for the Windstream Communications service provider datanetwork. The network consists of routing and switching platformsfrom Juniper, Cisco, and Alcatel-Lucent devices as well as a variety of otherdata network equipment. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of datainternet-networking in needed, particularly experience with IP Networksincluding: ISIS, BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN and the ability to learn new products andservices.

The successful candidate should possess advanced troubleshootingknowledge of IP Networks and equipment to quickly repair / mitigate core outageconditions. The position requires strong written and verbal communicationskills and the ability to drive issues to resolution. Technicianswill interface via phone, video, chat, and ticketing systems with Windstreamtechnicians, front-line technical reps, and Carrier technicians to resolveissues, mitigate outages, and ensure that all steps are professionallydocumented.

Work is performed in shifts within a 24x7 Network OperationsCenter environment. Candidates must be available to work ANY SHIFT,including nights, weekends, and holidays. The shift will cover Friday - Monday, 13:00to 23:30 CDT.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience: Associates Degree inTechnical discipline (engineering, physics, computer science, etc.) and 4-6years internetworking or electronics experience with 3 years directly relatedto the job. College hours or a college degree may be substituted forsome experience as deemed appropriate.

Desired Education:

* 4-year degree in a technical discipline (engineering, physics,computer science, etc.)

Desired Experience:

* 5 years of experience with IT/LAN/WAN in an operations orhelp-desk environment
* 5 years of troubleshooting network elements, protocols,services, and transport layer problems

Desired Qualifications:

* Knowledgeof central office transport equipment including test methods
* Understandingof LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, ATM, Frame Relay and ADSL
* Understandingof SD-WAN
* Understandingof ATM and/or frame relay services
* Demonstratedexcellent communication skills
* Demonstratedtechnical skills in data networking or closely related field
* Demonstratedknowledge of broadband equipment, protocols, and networking
* Experiencewith Cisco, Juniper and Nokia routing platforms
