Job Description

OverviewResponsible for the daily analysis of material management related data and management of inventory tools. Responsible for providing recommendations and assistance to all plant storeroom personnel on storeroom related topics. ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and report on material management data Understand and apply material requirements planning concepts Manage inventory optimization tools to prepare, execute, and implement analysis and decisions Maintain master data Manage daily/weekly/monthly data downloads from SAP and other systems where applicable Manage daily/weekly/monthly data uploads to SAP Manage reporting from inventory optimization tools Manage and address topics from exception reporting Communicate regularly with plant storeroom personnel Act as backup for storeroom program manager Travel to sites in US, Canada, and Bahamas for in-person training and work QualificationsBachelor's Degree Completed internship in industry or business setting Thorough understanding of databases Excellent Microsoft office skills, specifically Excel and Access Excellent computer skills Good, patient communication skills Ability to listen Ability to learn Ability to travel to US, Canada, and Bahamas Ability to work safely in manufacturing environment Understanding of material management/MRP concepts preferred VBA or other programming experience preferred Experience with SAP preferred Requires daily contact with employees in other departments, specifically (but not limited to) plant storeroom managers Special Working Conditions/Physical Requirements Normal working schedule (8-5 Mon-Fri) Responds to urgent or emergency situations outside of normal working hours, as needed. Works in seated or standing positions for prolonged periods of time, uses full range of motion, and wears personal protective equipment as required.
