Job Description

This position will be responsible for coordinating the review and execution of investment documentation for the implementation of investment managers for our institutional pension client portfolios. Hiring investment managers involves the responsibility of reviewing and executing a number of formal agreements, as well as other related documentation, such as trust agreements, articles of incorporation, plan documents and investment memoranda. The Investment Implementation Analyst will coordinate legal and investment review activities to assist the Implementation Team with its portfolio activities.

As a member of the Implementation Team, you will initiate efficient processes for reviewing and implementing agreements on behalf of our institutional pension clients and liaising with various internal teams. You will interact with various team members as needed to facilitate the review and execution of investment related agreements.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, have keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, is adaptive to change and be able to successfully manage many competing transactions activities under tight timeframes while producing high quality work.

The Role

* The main duties and responsibilities are as follows:
* Adhere to documented procedures for ensuring that all agreements and associated documents are reviewed and executed consistent with documented procedures.
* Prepare documents from the perspective of Willis Towers Watson's role as a fiduciary on behalf of retirement plans that have delegated to us certain fiduciary responsibilities.
* Review clients' plan documents as it relates to the AML (anti-money laundering)/KYC (know your customer) process to confirm they are consistent with Willis Towers
* Watson's delegated authority to implement the portfolio and coordinate the resolution of issues as necessary.
* Liaise with internal parties, directed trustees and investment managers to drive the process of reviewing and preparing documents for execution and delivery to counterparties.
* Review and prepare ad hoc agreements for execution as requested by the Implementation team.
* Build strong relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
* Clearly and confidently communicate with internal and external parties in a timely manner, with proactive follow-up as necessary.
* Deliver high quality work on deadline that meets or exceeds client expectations.
* Incorporate key client plan and investment details in the preparation of agreements, amendments, consents and related documentation pertaining to investing the assets of retirement plans with investment managers, with advice from counsel as appropriate.


* Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required.
* Experience working in an investment, banking or consulting environment a plus.Recent graduates with intern experience are welcome to apply as well.
* Effective speaking, writing and presentation skills.
* Keen attention to detail.
* Strong service orientation and sense of urgency regarding client needs.
* Track record of delivering high quality work on time and within budget.
* Ability to work on own initiative when required, as well as in a team.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook. Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro / Foxit Phantom and MS Excel.
