Job Description

As a Carrier Inventory Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of Liazon's Bright Choices® Carrier Inventory and/or employee benefit plans.

The Role

* Configure Liazon's proprietary software platforms for initial carrier implementation on Liazon's consumercentric benefits program.
* Gather an understanding of the wide range of insurance products that are offered on our marketplace and offer knowledge/guidance to others who are working with the same material.
* Assist in troubleshooting enrollment-related technology issues related to inventory configurations.
* Perform periodic audits on the products that are built into the platform in order to ensure there are no configuration errors with the pre-built Inventory on the "shelf".
* Identify process improvements, recommend solutions, implement changes and sustain results.
* Consult with Carrier and Partnership teams on portal capabilities.
* Learn or develop skills with reporting tools, such as SQL, in order to provide routine and ad-hoc deliverables for Management
* Must have the ability to multi-task, displaying the capability to work with multiple client deliverables (Project Management) within agreed upon deadlines.
* Generate and analyze reports for management and service teams.
* Augment internal customer service tip sheets/quick reference material.
* Attend all mandatory in-service training and regularly attend team meetings.
* Review requests consultatively - guide internal and external customers on the best way to accomplish a task or implement a requirement.
* Use web-based software applications and Microsoft Office productivity tools, i.e. Excel, Word, and Access.
* Ability to understand high level impact and properly facilitate communication across multiple departments to ensure success of all downstream functions.
* Any other duties as assigned.

The Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college; degree/concentration in math, engineering, quantitative economics, computer science, Finance, Management Information Systems, or Business preferred, equivalent experience would be considered.
* Proficiency in web-based software applications and Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
* Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills
* Project Management skills are desired, but certifications are not required
* Transactional SQL/Relational database experience strongly preferred, but not required
* Domain expertise in health insurance, benefits administration, human resources, banking, or back office functions preferred, but not required
* Excellent trouble-shooting skills to define, measure, analyze, implement, and control results
