Job Description

The Role

As a Configuration Team Lead, you will be responsible for the coordination/supervision of the installation and maintenance of our Bright Choices® portal for clients and their employees.

Responsibilities Include:

* Provide leadership to team of Configuration Analysts
* Coordinates the configuring of WTW proprietary software platforms for initial client implementation on WTW consumer-centric benefits program
* Manages processing of client initial configuration, renewals and changes in WTW software for clients on an as needed basis, for example, at the renewal of client benefit plans
* Develop a thorough understanding of the Carrier Insurance Products that are offered to our clients, which consists of a very wide range of options.
* Oversee the production of Vendor Inventory, to make sure both Carrier and Client expectations are met.
* Works closely with Carrier Operations team on determining the best way to configure our Inventory Products, understanding the system capabilities and educating the team to build product knowledge
* Ability to audit Inventory plan configurations in order to resolve product related issues and identify client impact in a timely fashion
* Identify areas where new process and procedures are required and work with team on incorporating into our knowledge base tools.
* Coordinate resources to assure client deadlines are met
* Assists in troubleshooting enrollment-related technology issues
* Works closely with Product team to understand benefit plans to ensure proper configuration
* Works closely with Technology team to understand system capabilities
* Consults with sales and service staff on portal capabilities
* Generate and analyze reports for management and service teams
* Attends all mandatory in-service training and regularly attends supervision meetings
* Attends other training and in-services as needed to maintain a level of expertise in the field
* Review requests consultatively - guide internal and external customers on the best way to accomplish a task or implement a requirement
* Performs additional duties as assigned


The Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college; degree/concentration in math, engineering, quantitative economics, computer science, Finance, Management Information Systems, or Business preferred, equivalent experience would be considered.
* MA/MBA or other advanced graduate education strongly preferred
* Transactional SQL/Relational database experience strongly preferred
* Experience in using various web-based software applications and Microsoft Office productivity tools (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* The ability and openness to work flexible hours and work days to meet business demands, including weekends
* Domain expertise in health insurance, benefits administration, human resources, banking, or back office functions is desirable but not required.
