Summary and Purpose      

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contract Analyst II to be member our Tulsa, Oklahoma team. Reporting to the Manager of Commercial Development, the primary purpose of the Contract Analyst is to make certain Williams properly performs its responsibilities as the operator and owner of the various gathering and processing systems located within our Wyoming Operating Areas.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews, processes, and executes standard agreements, amendments, and drafts non-standard agreements with assistance from Commercial and other departments.
  • Insures contractual documents comply with Williams Compliance Policies and Guidelines
  • Maintains existing agreements within the Williams logistic systems and provides support to Commercial, regarding contract data.
  • Communicates with internal and external customers to collaborate on contract drafts.
  • Identifies contract milestones to create contract event notifications for various groups.
  • Prepares routine contract data reports as requested by Commercial and other areas.
  • Managing the well connect process
  • Prepares and distributes contractually required notifications, reports and approvals to partners and customers.
  • Interfaces with internal functions to evaluate contractual compliance
  • Assists the Commercial with negotiation of complex agreements until execution of contractual documents
  • Ensures contractual documents comply with Williams’ compliance policies and guidelines
  • Develops contract data and ad hoc reports, and is responsible for internal and external data requests
  • Participates in defining and analyzing contract management processes and procedures.
  • Requests or approves amendments to contract terms or extensions.
  • Advises internal functions of contractual rights and obligations
  • Professionally represents Williams at formal and informal industry meetings and gatherings
  • As ability and knowledge progress, will manage customer accounts and lead negotiations with those customers.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Energy, Engineering, Legal, or related field
  • Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Etc.…), and other computer applications
  • Hold a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in contract analysis/administration or the energy industry.
  • Ability to work in both a team setting and individually with minimal supervision
  • Detailed understanding of contractual compliance, agreements, execution, documents, etc...
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to relate and work well with a variety of external customers, internal customers, agencies, and departments
  • Ability to demonstrate an advanced knowledge level of complex contract agreements, processes, compliance, negotiation, etc.…
