Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Land Representative to join the Atlantic Gulf Tactical Projects and Technical Services group for the Princeton, NJ division location.  The primary responsibility will be in the negotiation and acquisition of land and property rights involving new or the expansion of existing pipelines and facilities. This position will research and prepare land-related contracts, develop project-specific land acquisition plans.  




  • Enforcement, Protection, Maintenance and Enhancement of Company Property Rights
  • Easement, Fee and Lease Acquisitions, and Renewals of Existing Agreements
  • Due Diligence Research
  • Document Data Entry and Maintenance of Records
  • Asset Management, Assignment, Divestiture, and Acquisition
  • Preparation and execution of agreements
  • Research and Explain Easement and Property Rights
  • Establish and maintain long term landowner relations
  • Title research and ownership verification



Functional/Technical Competencies:

  • Have computer experience with Microsoft Office (including Access Database), Microsoft Projects, PowerPoint, and Excel Work products.
  • Possess the ability to manage multiple complex projects with a high level of customer satisfaction.

A Successful Candidate will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in related fields such as land management or business administration, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in related areas of right-of-way or land functions, including direct acquisition and damage settlements experience
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in land.
  • Land Contract preparation and interpretation experience



A Successful Candidate May have:

  • Law degree or paralegal certificate
  • Experience in Midstream pipeline industry (strongly preferred).
  • Successful completion of at least 1 approved IRWA or other comparable courses
  • Knowledge of Natural Gas Exploration and Production, gathering, and transmission
