Summary and Purpose

This role will be responsible for coordination with internal stakeholders and external customers to maximize gathering and processing of gas, balance gathering systems, meet contractual obligations, and minimize contract imbalances with external customers and third party operators with timely and accurate guidance and data. Assistance when necessary to provide scheduling services that meets all FERC scheduling standards.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must have a thorough understand of William's contract provisions associated with gathering and processing agreements and operational balancing agreements including pricing, rates and terms.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate effectively and timely with external and internal parties on a daily basis to monitor nominations, flowing gas, imbalance positions, contract compliance and other key factors associated with customers and Williams' daily business activities .
  • Must be able to monitor and analyze data so as to identify discrepancies, negotiate with appropriate parties and apply necessary resolution within a timely manner.
  • Must have a thorough understand of William's physical configuration and operational arrangements for all assets within the assigned region of responsibility.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports to internal parties, including management, pipeline control, marketing, commodity optimization and accounting.
  • Maintain accurate desktop procedures for assigned customers and assets as well as training instructions.
  • Provide necessary training, as needed, to ensure the successful execution of the daily business and to promote growth in individuals needing solutions to opportunities.
  • Candidate must be able to perform all scheduling duties and assignments within stated timelines including but not limited to validation of data, successfully complete all internal processes, distribute all necessary reports and meet all public posting requirements.
  • Work schedules will require some weekend, evenings and holiday work on a rotational basis.
  • Work assignments associated with the gas management duties would require starting between 7:00 am and 8:00 am on weekdays as instructed by manager. Work assignments associated with scheduling duties will require starting at 10:00 am and continue until all business cycles are completed, which requires 12 hours or more in duration.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Provide coordination of daily set up for assigned assets with pipeline control, field operations, commodity optimization and other representatives.
  • Provide coordination and assistance with shippers, operators, commercial, pipeline control, accounting and other internal parties in resolving discrepancies.
  • Develop and execute daily imbalance resolution plans with shippers, pipeline operators and other representatives.
  • Good computer skills using latest software tools (e.g., Word, Excel, Adobe, Internet Explorer, AIM).
  • Good computer skills using interactive systems- including Williams' Gas Kit, Live Link systems as well as several third party interactive systems.
  • Must be able to work effectively within a team environment with strict deadlines to be meet and work with several parties at the same time to resolve issues.
  • Must have excellent communication skills - verbal, writing and listening skills.
  • Must be able to take responsibility for actions, be proactive in responding to issues.
