Summary and Purpose

Our organization is seeking a highly qualified Marketing Representative be a member of our Salt Lake City, Utah team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Services, the primary purpose of the Marketing Representative is to be responsible for enhancing profitability by providing outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop external and internal customer relationships
  • Provide excellent customer service skills while being the customers’ single-point-of-contact
  • Assist customers with capacity releases, nominations, invoicing, and imbalance management transactions
  • Market all pipeline services
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts and facility agreements with customers
  • Develop market studies
  • Design and test system enhancements
  • Work on compliance and regulatory issues
  • Provide accurate revenue and volume accounting reports, including the data retrieval of the reporting elements
  • Perform Revenue / Volume Accounting Functions
  • In addition, the successful candidate will be required to travel, schedule gas on a rotating basis (which includes periodic evenings and weekends), and be willing to accept a broad range of assignments.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or other business-related area
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess strong analytical/accounting skills
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Applications Suite
  • Be highly proficient with excel functions, with a moderate understanding of both modeling and vba macros.
  • Be proficient with one of the following Database Applications ( Microsoft Access, Business Objects, or Microsoft Stack)
  • Be willing to travel up to 25%


Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess a basic knowledge of the gas industry
  • Have previous customer service experience pertaining to contract negotiations and conflict resolution
  • Possess an intermediate level of understanding of relational database theory and/or data flow diagram and cloud computing
