Social Media Coordinator

About the Role

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Social Media Manager in developing and executing social media strategies for Pottery Barn. The role requires a can-do attitude and an enthusiasm for driving brand awareness and increasing brand affinity across Pottery Barn's social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.). The ideal candidate will have demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role, working on a brand with national or international social reach. This candidate is an excellent communicator with strong (yet succinct) writing skills, an ability to easily and authentically adopt a brand's voice, and a keen understanding of the current social media landscape. The candidate must be a flexible and creative self-starter who is able to work within an entrepreneurial environment and support multiple projects at once. A love for all things social and home décor-related would be an added bonus!

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

* Create, schedule, and publish content across Pottery Barn's social channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram, ensuring that the brand remains a top-of-mind source of inspiration
* Identify influencer engagement opportunities to reach new audiences
* Coordinate product shipments and act as point-of-contact for collaborators throughout project lifecycles
* Provide strategic input when creating and maintaining the brand's Social Editorial Calendar
* Analyze and report on social data to strategically inform ongoing social messaging
* Monitor and maintain a record of projects and team budgets

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* You have 1+ years of social media experience working on a national brand
* You possess exceptional writing skills and pay close attention to detail, grammar, and tone
* You're experienced with social media management tools (Sprinklr, Curalate, Hootsuite, etc.)
* You have a keen understanding of social analytics and experience creating data-driven reports
* You thrive while working cross-functionally with an array of diverse internal teams
* You possess strong time management skills and are able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* You're scrappy and eager to wear multiple hats when needed
* You're comfortable with Photoshop and the basic framework of HTML (preferred)
* You have a passion for all things social media (and passion for home décor is definitely a plus!)
* You have a Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field

Technical Competencies required:

* 1+ years social media content development experience
