Business Development Manager, west elm HOTELS

Assist in the strategic planning and development of the west elm HOTELS brand across a broad range disciplines -- partnerships, IT development and product development. This role requires a candidate who can multitask, is highly organized, entrepreneurial and strategic. Reporting into the VP of Hospitality this role requires building relationships with business leaders and cross functional partners in hotel operations, merchandising, planning, sourcing, finance and marketing. During the development of the brand there are many work flows that require definition and guiding that are unique to the HOTELS business, while these projects may be broad in their categories they all add to the common goal of creating a truly unique hospitality experience.

Essential Functions:
* Create and maintain ongoing work flow / project management plans for the following concepts and communicate effectively to project partners;
* Partner with product development team on signature product development projects for west elm HOTELS
* Partner with in-house and external IT integration team on the development of the digital experience launch of go forward plan for west elm HOTELS.
* Track major milestones and budgets attached to IT integration, asset creation, marketing needs and events.
* Partner with internal partnership teams on local community engagement projects.
* Research and manage brand level marketing partnership opportunity for west elm HOTELS
* Research industry trends and report back to business leaders on risks and opportunities for the brand.


* Bachelor's Degree
* Hospitality experience required
* 5 - 8 years experience in project management and/or sales operations preferred
* Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
* Able to partner with a wide range of personalities
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A passion for design and creating unique experiences is preferred
