JOB DESCRIPTION
Temporary - Assistant Website Merchandiser- Pottery Barn Kids
Execute the merchandise strategy for the channel --product strategy and visual website merchandising strategy for specific product departments and functional areas of website. Execute business strategies and visual merchandise strategies to drive sales and profit. Identify opportunities and recommend new concepts for the channel to enhance the brand.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the development of the seasonal plans for the channel
* Execute SKU rollovers on site.
* Update site pricing.
* Load and input products into correct shop paths for seasonal product launches.
* Load and maintain sale shop path execution, ensuring sale items are in the sale path as new markdowns go live and limited time offers go on and off.
* Address site accuracy issue call outs from counterparts in brand merchandising and inventory.
* Execute the direction for populating shop by room and shop by style paths, with strategic direction from Merchandise Managers.
* Assist in maintaining shipping information details by shipping type for Furniture Division.
* Assist in maintaining "see it in store" flags for Furniture Division.
* Assist in maintaining "available in store" flags for Textiles and Furniture Divisions.
* Assist in creating seasonal ecommerce photo requests, in partnership with Merchandise Managers.
* Assist in creative season product roadmaps, in partnership with Merchandise Managers.
* Assist in seasonal site testing prior to launch, in partnership with Merchandise Managers.
* This role supports 2 divisions -- furniture and textiles.
* Other projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS NEEDED:
* MUST HAVE Excel experience, able to perform v-lookups, calcs, work off large excel spreadsheets
* Ecommerce Content Management Systems experience is a plus
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Able to stay calm, focused, and productive in a fast-paced, urgent environment with lots of last minute changes and competing deadlines
* Able to prioritize competing deadlines and elevated deadline extensions -- someone who plans their time well, from the immediate next hour to the longer term week, month
* Quick learner, who doesn't need a ton of direction -- can take simple directions, one time, and run with them
* Owner attitude -- pushes toward the required end result, using resourcefulness and tenacity to get through obstacles
* Team player who can report to 2 managers, supporting 2 departments, and collaborate with multiple functional groups get the job doneThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
