JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Staffing Coordinator contributes to the operational excellence of the Talent Management function by applying strong administrative skills to support assigned recruiters as well as to promote a best in class candidate experience from initial contact through on boarding.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Support assigned recruiters with the job requisition and sourcing processes including:
* Work with assigned recruiters for requisition creation and maintenance
* Post open positions to external job boards
* Take independent action to manage candidate scheduling to minimize cost and time and to ensure a positive candidate experience
* Manage travel arrangements for external candidates ensuring a seamless travel experience.

Support candidate interviews. This may include arranging and managing Skype interviews, greeting and escorting candidates, etc.

Run reference and background checks as required.

Responsible for all aspects of candidate on boarding from offer letters through new hire orientation including:
* Utilize judgment to prepare offer letters
* Manage all communication with both the hiring manager and candidate regarding on boarding.
* Work with candidate to collect new hire paperwork, complete I-9 and tax credit screening
* Manage new hire reporting including running and distributing the new hire orientation and data sheets. Work with HR Records for any data issues.
* Coordinate and attend job fairs, on-site campus visits and other internal/external candidate forums.
* Provide guidance to coordinators outside of San Francisco on best practice related to scheduling and on boarding.
* Work with HR Generalists, HRIM, HR records and/or external vendors to identify and address business process issues related to talent acquisition.
* Participate in team related projects as required.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum 2 years experience as a Human Resources Assistant; experience in Staffing preferred
* Strong knowledge of computers, Outlook, Word and Excel experience required; knowledge of HRIS systems preferred
* Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
* Ability to prioritize in a deadline oriented environment
* Strong organizational skills
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Demonstrated strong initiative
* Strong problem solving skills
* Tolerance of ambiguity and ability to demonstrate flexibility and judgment under pressure
* Commitment to excellent customer service
