JOB DESCRIPTION

The Global Assistant Web Merchandiser's role is to execute online business initiatives and visual merchandising strategies to increase overall sales and website conversion. The Assistant will be responsible for analyzing the weekly business of a specific product group and maximize any opportunity to increase overall ecomm sales. The ideal candidate will be a strategic-thinker with excellent attention to detail that can quickly grasp the big picture and formulate a plan of attack. This person will be a collaborative partner to a variety of cross-functional teams including buying, marketing, production and photo and will therefore need to be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities

* Work with Brand Director to develop brand-specific strategy, planning, execution, and problem solving
* Manage information across functions working closely with Inventory Management, Sourcing, Production, Packaging and Creative Services to ensure the process is followed and timelines met.
* Coordinate with U.S. brand teams on promotional cadence to align with Canada retail. Attend all domestic promotion planning meetings and extrapolate plan for Canada DTC aligning to CA DTC assortment and Net Suite platform capabilities
* Ensure a consistent assortment across Canada retail and ecommerce. Collaborate with the Brand Merchants to identify new vendors, product edits/drops as well as assortment additions. Make recommended assortment changes and provide information/direction to the Global Team for the execution of these changes.
* Collaborate with Inventory to develop annual and seasonal financial plans. (Further clarification on creation of OTB, how would this work for CA)
* Recommend effective processes and procedures to support market growth, workflow, and delivering results
* Brief email creative and site marketing working with CA web designer and copy to execute with "omnichannel" customer view
* Pricing - ensure and communicate CA pricing
* Create and maintain CA assortment list - mapping retail to DTC
* Strategize EDM exceptions based on localized assortment in partnership with CA E-Commerce manager and U.S. team
* Weekly, monthly, seasonal reporting of sales

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

* 3-5 yrs eCom Merchandising experience
* BA/BS preferred
* Advanced Excel skills
* People --management skills
* Google analytics experience strongly preferred
* Interpret and build strategies based on sales reports
