Position Summary

The Email Designer role will be responsible for digital marketing creative, including email, banners, digital advertising and social.

Specific Responsibilities

* Design original email layouts -- take projects from concept to completion while working within the parameters of the brand style guide
* Assist with a variety of email campaigns and templates, including content, promotional, retail, and dynamically driven campaigns.
* Assist with delivery of all banner and other online marketing.
* Present campaigns for approvals and feedback to senior level.
* Maintain design and creative deliverables to schedule, including internal milestones and freelance and vendor milestones.
* Maintain and evolve process as business and creative needs change.
* Represent ideas and process at partner meetings.
* Continually drive and evolve brand standards for the design of email and banners.
* Contribute email design and direct mail best practices and ongoing learning to significantly improve campaign metrics and performance.
* Develop strategies for new email functionality, efficiency and programs, and actively contribute to planning conversations and decision about functionality, new programs and design.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Demonstrated record of bringing new ideas to fruition.
* Extremely proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
* Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks.
* Outstanding communication skills.
* Meticulous attention to detail and work well within tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of HTML for email and email design best practices.
* Familiarity with current online advertising practices and functionality.
* 4+ years of digital design experience, preferably in retail brands.
