JOB DESCRIPTION

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (WSI) is looking for Social Analysts to launch and optimize Facebook buys for brand(s) within the WSI Portfolio of brands. This is a new role at WSI, and the candidate will initially be focused on helping WSI move from agency to in-house Facebook campaign management and work closely with the current social strategy team. The position will ultimately manage the Facebook day to day media buying and program optimization for 1+ brands using a 3rd party technology in addition to the overall cross-platform social strategy including agency management (i.e. Pinterest, SnapChat). As an initial team member, this candidate will have a large role in testing social technology partners and transitioning brands to internal management. This Analyst will help develop tactical strategy for their brand to increase revenue and site traffic and to maximize return on ad spend. Experience in executing complex campaigns leveraging an advertiser's first-party data for direct response targeting is a plus.

Responsibilities:

* Setup and manage Facebook campaigns across various tactics (site retargeting/DPA, first-party CRM data retargeting, prospecting) whilst hitting or exceeding program KPIs
* Proactively track campaign pacing and performance, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of budget
* Manage budgets closely, ensuring spend is aligned with seasonal performance and weekly and monthly targets met
* Update and send weekly and mid-week reporting to key stakeholders with performance notes
* Liaise with brand social and creative teams to ensure programs are updated seasonally, reflect current promotions and Brand initiatives
* Effectively communicate strategies and rationale for tactical approaches of each campaign
* Spot opportunities for new tactics/improved ROI/forecast investment and return and work directly with Customer Relationship Management team to fund
* Be a platform expert, familiar with all optimization levers and features of both the 3rd party social advertising tool and Facebook Ads Manager
* Simultaneously manage multiple campaigns with varying budgets/goals (with special emphasis on weekly/monthly spend and ROI targets)
* Troubleshoot and QA campaigns pre-launch and once live
* Track, analyze, and provide regular reporting/updates on KPIs
* Stay apprised of current and new functionality and/or data offerings and successfully deploy on relevant campaigns
* Keep up-to-date with industry trends
* Collaborate with IT, Ad Operations, and Social Strategy Teams on site tagging, creative tag delivery, campaign strategy/execution, and reporting
* Collaborate with Analytics and Database Teams to leverage customer segments for specialized targeting
* Assist with current Facebook managed service day to day as we transition brands in-house
* Manage monthly accrual processes across social partners
* Role will eventually manage paid social strategy and execution across all paid social platforms for a WSI brand(s), including agency management and cross platform strategy, testing, and execution and ensuring WSI stays at the forefront of paid social advertising across all platforms

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* 1-2 years of experience in social campaign management
* Hands-to-keyboard experience with 3rd party technologies and Facebook Ads Manager
* Strong analytics ability with experience in analyzing raw data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations/communicating outcomes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to synthesize technical detail
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, etc.)
* Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in an adaptive, fast-paced environment
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
