The west elm photo studio and team produces all west elm content - photography, videography, set building and various carpentry needs. The photo studio is located adjacent to the photo sample warehouse where the teams work closely on a daily basis to execute brand creative initiatives.
Our west elm Makers Studio is also located just above the photo studio, where our Designers create original seasonal products and have various meetings to review assortment. New lines of business and other company big ideas are also created within our spaces in Industry City. Our creative hub is located in the thriving design community in Industry City, Sunset Park, Brooklyn that we have been a part of since 2011.


Essential Functions:
* Work with Video Producer, Video Art Director and Project Managers to create successful video content while acting as expert for all Post Production needs
* Must be incredibly organized, especially with multiple projects in production simultaneously at various stages of completion
* Attend weekly status meetings to understand department needs from conception to launch, and provide insight and solutions for post-production execution
* Edit, color grade, sound mix and export final deliverables autonomously
* Supervise video edits with external production partners
* In conjunction with Project Manager and Coordinators, create post-production schedules and deliver final files on deadlines
* Act as point person for internal communication for post-production on all video projects
* Communicate post workflows both internally and with outside vendors
* Provide solutions to keep budgets down and maximize edit resources
* Pack and archive all assets: raw footage, project files and final deliverables

* BFA, BA and/or MA in TV, film, communications or journalism
* 2+ years of experience in a post-production role
* Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro
* Track record of successfully managing multiple projects at once
* Familiar with wide range of cameras, video gear and software
* Color grading proficiency a big plus, especially Da Vinci
* Ability to work closely with related divisions including Creative, Ecom, Legal, Risk Management and Finance
