The eMarketing Manager will focus on driving brand sales and optimizing the marketing investment thru various online and offline marketing strategies. They will develop plans in support of key brand initiatives that will drive profitable growth as well as identify programs to acquire new, retain or reactivate existing customers. They will work closely with eCommerce Site Managers and Customer Analytics teams to determine targeting and segmentation opportunities, as well as design and execute thoughtful tests that best optimize conversion and sales.

The candidate will facilitate and support key brand initiatives with cross-functional partners -Merchants, Inventory, IT, Analytics and Creative teams.

A successful candidate should be experienced in digital merchandising and direct marketing; analytical, highly detail-oriented and will possess the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing multi-channel retail environment. In addition, this candidate will develop a high-performing team who grow and stay relevant in the ever-evolving world of eCommerce and Marketing.


* Develop and implement internal and external strategies for PB.com that support all channels and meet brand objectives. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities; develop short and long-term business plans
* Work in cross-functional teams -- Merchants, Inventory, Finance, Creative, CRM - to manage the onsite and external marketing businesses and achieve DTC business goals and financial plans
* Work with internal customer analytics groups to design and implement targeting strategies, analyze and implement process improvements, and improve internal and external targeting
* Identify trends and analyze marketing programs - retargeting, external prospecting, customer behavior, and purchase patterns
* Keep abreast of market and consumer trends
* Manage and optimize investment opportunities across various marketing programs; provide support in development of monthly brand investment presentations for CEO and senior leadership
* Manage various brand initiatives -- weekly promotions, new product launches, new store openings, New Mover program, Registry Marketing, and customer acquisition efforts
* Support cross-functional efforts to drive key growth brand initiatives
* Manage, develop, and evaluate staff

* Manage the creative process to develop assets for all external marketing campaigns (paid search, paid social, display ads), including copy and image selection; ensure creative is on-brand, seasonally relevant and compelling; optimize and test whenever possible

* Implement seasonal updates and ensure marketing initiatives are consistent with catalog, and store merchandising strategies


* Bachelor's degree required
* 5+ years eCommerce Merchandising and/or Marketing experience; Direct marketing and/or CRM marketing preferred
* Retail/specialty retail experience preferred
* Strategic and analytical thinker; ability to evaluate alternatives and develop effective solutions
* Ability to build effective relationships within team & with cross functional partners & vendors
* Ability to lead and develop a successful team
* Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a deadline driven environment; able to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced business
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft systems
