Job Description

Widener University's College of Arts & Sciences has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester. Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an "as needed" basis. Courses available for adjunct staffing are offered during the day and also in the evening. Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; and provide support and guidance to students.

Job Qualifications:

Required qualifications include a Master's Degree in Biology or a closely related major. Preference will be given to candidates who have an ABD or PhD in Biology or a closely related field; teaching experience in anatomy, microbiology or a related field, and willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
