Job Description

Widener University's College of Arts & Sciences has an ongoing need for highly qualified Adjunct faculty to teach a variety of courses each semester in the area of Modern Language - Spanish. Part-time Adjunct faculty may instruct 1 to 3 courses each semester on an "as needed" basis. Courses available for Adjunct staffing are offered during both the day and in the evening.

Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s) as assigned; prepare course materials; and provide support and guidance to students.

Required:

* Master's Degree in Spanish or closely related majors is required.


* Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.



Preferred:

* ABD or PhD in Spanish or closely related majors.


* 2+ years' previous teaching experience.
