Job Function: Systems Engineering (40000041) 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Development of detailed technical schedule coordinated with the project planners.
  • Manage day-to-day activities to ensure the team is working efficiently and on-time.
  • Use the following tools to ensure that the engineering team and support teams are working efficiently:
    • CAD Queue (Computer Aided Design)
    • SBD Queue (Simulation Based Design)
    • Lab Queue
  • Manage the technical action register to ensure that actions are closed when committed.
  • Co-ownership of the technical core team with System Integrator.
  • Owns the communication plan and updates as needs change for the team.
  • Execute roll up of the attribute line of sight from the sub subsystem.
  • Drive on-time updates of the Design Verification Plan & Report.
  • Write and track Purchase Orders for the team.  Provide monthly updates for budget forecast.
  • Manage Build Readiness Review with Model Shop.
  • Own Risk Register of the project.
  • Technical Change Management process.  Response to Impact of Change (IOC) / Change Control Request (CCR) request.
  • Core Team Member.
  • Updates and Manage the Product Definition.
  • Delivery of on-time start to Verification Builds.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Technical Associate’s Degree (Electrical / Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineer Technology, or relevant degree.)
  • 1+ years of experience with part release, build process, Computer Aided Design, bill of material, data management, and/or order management system.

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Release and Management Experience.
  • We are looking for someone with attention to detail in our parts release and build processes.
  • Organizational, Multi-tasking and Project Management Skills.
  • Experience managing new product development projects.
