Job Description

Background:

If you love to tinker with technology, cut code and stay abreast of the latest technology then the Security team has a great growth opportunity for you. We're looking for a Security Technologist to work on cutting edge security solutions that help solve some of the company's most difficult data and access security problems. The duration of this internship is approximately 6 months beginning in January 2014.

Key Functions:

Work within an Agile team using the Scrum Methodology to develop, test and deliver cutting edge solutions for:

Provisioning and de-provisioning employee access to Weyerhaeuser's enterprise systems.
Providing password self-service reset capability
Manage group membership
Providing identity information anytime, anywhere via mobile solutions
Deliver federated cloud services that extend Weyerhaeuser identities to Software as a Service (SaaS) providers
Interact with Weyerhaeuser customers to oversee and manage day-to-day operations

Assist in troubleshooting and problem resolution (day-to-day operations)
Assist in managing the Identity and Access Management teams product backlog
Willingness to pursue and learn: Security Concepts, Agile(Scrum), Microsoft ASP.net MVC, Microsoft ForeFront Identity Manager, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, JQuery Mobile, unit testing methods, oData & REST base services, Microsoft PowerShell, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and delivering solutions to the Azure cloud service.

Requirements:

Desired candidates will be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program related to Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field of study.
Desired candidates have a minimum of a sophomore standing by January 2014. but not yet graduated.
Programming language skills in C# or Java
Understanding of Design Patterns
Client side Java Script
HTML
Ability to step debug code
Ability to write basic SQL queries
Experience using Visual Studio or equivalent IDE
Ability to work in a cross functional Agile team environment
Ability and desire to contribute creative ideas to solve technical and business problems
Strong communication skills (written, oral, and listening)
Positive attitude, enthusiastic, and drive to perform and learn
Works well in a changing environment; able to function independently and adapt readily to multiple assignments, deadlines, and changing priorities
